The Velcro holds in place an absorbent, washable, removable insert, which is placed between the shin guard and the shin, acting as a barrier to sweat. The washable, Removable Shin Guard Liner included with the Tactical Shin Guard helps reduce odors and protect against the spread of infections from shared equipment. Double-stitching is used as needed to protect seams
